Modern surfaces will last much longer than the formica many of us grew up with. Choices include laminate, Corian, granite, marble and other more exotic materials. Custom Cabinets
The benefits of custom kitchen cabinets include increased personalization, longer shelf life, and so much more. Custom kitchen cabinets are undoubtedly going to cost more money than semi-custom or stock kitchen cabinets but in most cases they are truly worth it. Template cabinets come with the limitation that they must fit pre-sized components into spaces into which they may not fit perfectly. With custom cabinets, this is no longer a concern because each cabinet is measured and sized perfectly from the beginning.
